Well I can’t believe how quickly 10 years have passed! On 10th December 2006 Thanks a Bunch was born, we opened the doors in Tron Court, Tullibody. I remember then, thinking and wondering if I’d still be doing this wonderful job in ten years! That first Christmas was a real ‘thrown in at the deep end experience’, however I had a team around me that worked tirelessly to get through that very first Christmas.
Ten years later, I can look back with pride that we have made it to this monumental milestone! Three years ago, we came across the opportunity to move not only our floristry business but our home to relocate just around the corner to where we proudly stand on the Main Street at number 14. The business was ‘Born again’ this time from a building that was formally the Public Toilets!
Three years have flown by, and we have not only served our local area we have spread our net far and wide across the Central Belt of Scotland. With a team of highly skilled professional florists we have flourished and are delighted to work with many corporate clients and individuals. We’d like to express our thanks to all our customers for their business in the past and indeed in the future! Here’s to the next 10 years! ThanksGet Flirty with Flowers this Valentine’s Day
At Thanks a Bunch…..we tempt you to ‘Get Flirty with Flowers’ on Sunday 14th February we have Valentine’s Day the perfect platform to set Cupid into flight!
This year we have created a beautiful design inspired by the fantastic series Outlander, for those of you who haven’t yet treated yourself to watching this Scottish fantasy drama, it’s a wonderful series, full of intrigue, suspense, passion and romance! Set in truly stunning locations, many of which we can recognise as familiar settings around Scotland.
As professional florists it’s exciting to have the opportunity to draw creativity from the things that get us excited and inspired by! Our Limited Edition Bouquet, ‘Highland Romance’ exudes the passion of the people and subtle colours of Scotland, the deep velvet red of the luxury Grand Prix roses are complemented with the shades of the purples and greens replicated by the Limonium and Thalspi Green Bell. Of course, the inclusion of Thistles (Eryngiums) are paramount to the overall design.
As most of the first series of Outlander is based around 1743 in the middle of the Scottish rebellion against the British army. Following the series, passion runs deep throughout, the leading lady finds herself torn between the love of two men from different centuries.
The completion of the design is pulled together with the natural hessian material reminiscent of the era, romantic, rugged and passionate…. the perfect ‘Highland Romance’ for Valentine’s Day.
This Limited Edition design, Highland Romance includes 12 luxury roses and the essence of a Scots romance £95.00
